Easter eggs are a part of the Christian Easter holiday excitement, which symbolizes the start of a new life. Traditionally, they are made of painted or dyed chicken eggs to be hidden in the garden on Easter eve so that children can search for them on Easter morning. A more modern variation, however, may substitute chicken eggs with chocolate eggs, candy- or jelly-bean-filled plastic eggs, or Faberg? eggs.
